The Rough-legged Buzzard, also called the Rough-legged Hawk, is largely an Arctic bird.
It is a visitor to Ladakh, first time recorded in India at Stakna, Ladakh in January 2021.
Its feet are feathered and its a fairly large buzzard with a wing span of up to 153 cm.
