fun facts:

The Himalayan Buzzard is a year-round resident of Ladakh. It is sometimes considered a subspecies of the widespread Common Buzzard. The map shows where else it lives in India.

It was first recorded Indus belt in 2020.

The sexes look the same.

Watch it searching for food – it either soars on thermals or watches the ground, then does an aerial dive to snatch it’s prey.
