The Upland Buzzard is a resident in Ladakh and stays here during the breeding season.
It doesn’t like to stay in snowy areas, so the high desert of Ladakh is a preferred habitat.
Females are larger than males and the birds measure up to 70 cm in length and weigh 1-1.4 kg.
